Our Favorite Recipes
Diana and I are often asked for one of our recipes. So in an effort to make them more assessable I have put together this page which highlights some of our favorite.
I must warn you though, this is not diet fair. This recipe list will grow as I take the time to write down our other favorites. We hope you enjoy.
Clicking on the recipe will take you to a link which is a simple .txt document, which should be readable by any word program or notepad. and can then be printed.
Almond Crusted Halibut: Diana and I cook Halibut often. Baked with dill, grilled on the BBQ and Beer Battered. When I really want to impress it's Almond Crusted Halibut.

Grilled Salmon: This simple recipe works with any fish, grilled, baked or broiled.
Dog Handler Moose Stew: Perfect comfort winter food. When Diana was training for Iditarod and I was home I'd always cook a hearty dinner and a hands down favorite of our Dog Handler was this stew, so I named it Dog Handler Moose Stew. Baking powder biscuits are a must.
Bruce's Iditarod Burrito: This what Diana and I sent out on Iditarod. These pre made breakfast burritos are energy packed and easy to heat in the oven, microwave, dog cooker and even a camp fire.
Crab Salad: This salad is made from Imitation Crab. which is an Alaskan fish product made from Pollack, a bottom white fish. Imitation Crab also known as Surmi is low fat and taste like crab. It's also good flaked on salads or dipped in cocktail sauce.
Oriental Chicken Salad: I've taken a basic recipe and jazzed it up. Great blend of flavors with Cilantro, sesame and Almonds.
Crasin Naner Nut Bread: My version of the classic Banana Nut Bread.
I've taken a basic recipe and jazzed it up. Great blend of flavors with Cilantro, sesame and Almonds.
